How True Path Solutions Inc. collects, uses, protects and shares personal information.
Effective: October 13, 2026
Last updated: October 13, 2026
1. Who we are
True Path Solutions Inc. ("True Path", "we", "us") is an ERP implementation business based in Windsor, Ontario. This policy explains how we handle personal information through this website (tps-erp.com and truepathsolutions.deed.page) and when you contact us. We follow the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and its 10 fair information principles.
2. The short version
- This website has no contact forms, no advertising, no tracking cookies and no third-party analytics scripts.
- We only get personal information if you choose to send it to us, for example by email or LinkedIn message.
- We use it to reply to you and, if you become a client, to deliver our services. We do not sell it.
- You can ask to see, correct or delete your information at any time by writing to info.truepath.inc@gmail.com.
3. What we collect
| Information | How we get it | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Name, email address, company, phone number and anything you include in your message | You email us or message us on LinkedIn | To answer your question, prepare a quote and keep a record of our conversation |
| Business information needed for a project (for example user counts, product, customer and supplier data) | You provide it under a signed client agreement | To set up, migrate data into and support your ERP system |
| Basic, aggregated website statistics (page views, referring site, approximate country, device type) | Collected automatically by our hosting provider using cookieless analytics | To keep the site working and understand which pages are useful |
| Technical server logs (such as IP address, browser type, time of request) | Collected automatically by our hosting provider | Security, preventing abuse and fixing errors |
| Small settings stored in your own browser (see our Cookie Policy) | Saved on your device, not sent to us | Remembering that you closed the cookie notice, and keeping employees signed in to the Team Hub if they choose |
We do not knowingly collect sensitive information such as health, financial account or government ID numbers through this website. Please do not send it to us by email.
4. The 10 fair information principles and how we apply them
- Accountability. True Path is responsible for personal information under its control. Our Privacy Officer, Kareem Kabbani, CEO, is accountable for this policy (see section 11).
- Identifying purposes. We explain why we collect information, as listed in section 3, at or before the time we collect it.
- Consent. When you contact us you consent to us using your information to respond. For client work, consent is part of our written agreement. You may withdraw consent at any time, subject to legal or contractual limits, and we will explain what that means for any service in progress.
- Limiting collection. We only collect what we need for the purposes above. The website itself asks you for nothing.
- Limiting use, disclosure and retention. We use information only for the purposes we told you about, unless you agree otherwise or the law requires it. We keep it only as long as needed (section 7).
- Accuracy. We try to keep information accurate and complete for its purpose, and we correct it when you tell us something has changed.
- Safeguards. We protect information with security measures suited to its sensitivity (section 8).
- Openness. This policy is publicly available, and we will answer questions about our practices.
- Individual access. On request, we will tell you what personal information we hold about you, how it has been used and who it has been shared with, and give you access to it (section 9).
- Challenging compliance. You can challenge our compliance with these principles by contacting our Privacy Officer, and you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada (section 12).
5. How we share information
We do not sell, rent or trade personal information. We share it only with:
- Service providers who help us run the business, such as our website host (deed.page, which runs on Vercel), our email provider (Google) and the productivity tools we use to manage projects. They may only use the information to provide their service to us.
- Software vendors, with your direction. If you are a client, some information may go to the ERP software provider you license (for example Odoo S.A.) as part of setting up your system. Your licence is a separate agreement between you and that vendor.
- Legal requirements. When required by law, a court order or to protect our legal rights.
- Business transfer. If the business is sold or reorganized, information may transfer to the new owner under the same protections.
6. Storage and processing outside Canada
This website is hosted by deed.page on Vercel infrastructure, and our email and some of our tools are provided by companies based in the United States. That means personal information may be stored or processed in the United States or other countries, and may be accessible to courts, law enforcement and national security authorities in those countries under their laws. We choose established providers and rely on their contractual and security commitments to protect your information.
7. Retention
- Enquiries that do not lead to work: kept up to 24 months, then deleted.
- Client records and project data: kept for the length of the engagement and up to 7 years afterward where needed for tax, accounting or legal reasons, then deleted or anonymized.
- Hosting logs and statistics: kept according to our hosting provider's retention settings.
- Information used to make a decision about you is kept long enough for you to request access to it.
8. Safeguards
We use reasonable physical, organizational and technical safeguards, including encrypted HTTPS connections for the whole website, an encrypted employee area, accounts protected by strong passwords and two-step verification where available, access only for people who need it, and care when handling client data during migrations. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a breach of security safeguards creates a real risk of significant harm, we will notify affected people and the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada as PIPEDA requires.
9. Your rights: access and correction
You may ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask how it was used and shared, ask us to correct it, or withdraw your consent. Send your request to info.truepath.inc@gmail.com. We may need to confirm your identity. As PIPEDA requires, we will respond to access or correction requests within 30 days, or tell you if we need more time as the law allows. Access is free in most cases; if a cost applies we will tell you first. If we cannot give access to something, we will explain why, unless the law prevents us.
10. Children
Our services are for businesses. This website is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
